Recognizing the important role of Council Districts within the City, the Stormwater Program partners with all Council District offices to distribute educational materials. Partnerships with council offices resulted in the following supplemental activities including:

Council District 1: Educational booth at Latino Book Fair; Educational booth at Highland Park Christmas Parade/Festival.

Council District 3: Educational booth at Sepulveda Basin Off-Leash Dog Park Adoption Faire.

Council District 4: Educational booth at Pets on Parade.

Council District 6: Educational booth at Discover Marina del Rey Day; Educational booth at Ballona Fest 2000; Beach Clean-Up at Dockweiler Beach; Educational booth at Heal the BayÕs Bay Days.

Council District 7: Distribution of 5,000 stickers and coloring books for Christmas goodie-bags.

Council District 8: Educational booth at Ford LA Street Race; Educational booth at Kids Day LA.

Council District 9: Educational booth at South Central Homeowners Association Neighborhood Block Party (September 2000); Celebrating a Clean Community Campaign.

Council District 10: Educational booth at 100th Neighborhood Matching Fund Celebration.

Council District 11: Continuation of the Santa Monica Canyon Public Outreach Campaign; Educational booth at Public Works Committee meeting; Educational booth at Board of Public Works meeting; Educational booth at Van Nuys Community Information Fair.

Council District 12: Distribution of 200 Horse and Equine BMP pamphlets.

Council District 13: Educational booth at Lotus Festival; Educational booth at Eco Maya.
