In 1996, staff artist Oscar Amaro created this 18X24 full color poster depicting a street catch basin and below it, a scene teeming with aquatic life indigenous to the Santa Monica Bay.

Its high popularity quickly depleted the initial print run of 15,000 and an additional 30,000 were reprinted.

Over 25 agencies across the United States including the California Coastal Commission and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, use this piece in their own stormwater education outreach efforts.
