The Stormwater Program’s Pollution Abatement components follow the NPDES guidelines. They are:
In addition, program staff is responsible for a variety of support activities and acts as technical advisors to City Departments, outside agencies and the public on the use of stormwater pollution control practices. The focus of these activities include the identification, analysis and testing of potential BMP’s for City use.

Staff also prepares watershed management plans and conducts research in determining where BMP’s are needed and works to research and prepare grant applications for BMP pilot project studies.
