Beyond the Classroom

LA’s kids have been in school for a little more than a week, learning the signature “three R’s” – Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. But, we all know that learning is not confined to the classroom. In fact, lessons can be learned anywhere and at anytime!

Below is a listing of opportunities here in Southern California where children can engage in hands-on learning outside the classroom. These experiences are sure to kickstart their environmental stewardship as well as nurture a deeper connection with nature:
